If you are one of those people who dislike regular Tarot decks for their size, this is the deck for you. It is a small deck (regular playing cards I think) and would be perfect for those readers with a more delicate grip. Personally I found it to be almost too small, but then again, I like the large decks like the World Spirit Tarot and the like.
This deck is GORGEOUS to look at. Intricate work has gone into each card. It was created from material and has that collage effect you would expect from such an effort. The colors are enhanced by the textures of the various fabrics and the patterns as well.
I love the Nine of Pentacles which features a sun conure (a bird I\'ve owned). The woman leans back against a tree. She is happy and content beneath her canopy of stars in the tree. The colors are blues and maroons and pinks.
When I asked the deck what card it would use to describe itself I pulled the Six of Swords. Here we see another bird (of a species I am unfamiliar with or it may be one from the artist\'s vivid imagination. Two figures are on a boat that is forging ahead at full speed even thought the sail is down. There is a rainbow arcing above them as well. I always see the 6 of Swords as moving from troubled times to better times and so this is the message of the Zerner Farber Tarot. One of hope and good times ahead for those that invest in this deck.
The only draw back for me would be the size and perhaps the fact that some of the cards are just a bit busy for me. :-)
