I've been interested in tarot csards both from an artistic and a psychological point of view for over 20 years by now. My number one favourite deck is the one designed by David Sheridan for the Alfred Douglas book The Tarot. However, these cards are no longer available - please someone re-issue this deck - so my vote goes to lo scarabeo for their high quality, beautiful designs and incredible diversity. I love their Secret Tarot - check it out, it's so beautiful.

I cannot believe people like LS - I find that having 4 languages just detracts from the card impressions and makes intuitive reading difficult. Hmmm.

I also really hate lo scarabeo. Their borders and multi-language labels are both distracting and boring. They have a few decks that don't have that same old border, but most of them are just plain ugly, and it ruins any decks that I would otherwise buy. I think all publishers need to consider the way borders affect the cards anyway. Like on the Mystic Dreamer deck by Llewellyn. I LOVE Azurylipfe's art, but I SO wish they would have kept the original small white borders, or no borders. Those gigantic amber monstrosities are horrible, and it distracts from the art. =)
