Wow. This is a very different deck for me. Very dark in imagery but there is a luminescent quality about the artwork that drew me in. I have to say that this is not a deck I would read with because of the images. They don\'t speak to me the way I like.

This deck gives keywords which some will find quite useful. The Queen of Swords is protrayed as a Phoenix and her keywords are \"elusive, mythical.\" The Sun has \"power, genesis\" on it as a raptor of some type flies straight into the glowing orb of the Sun in the background. For me, the Sun is one card that just totally misses the boat in terms of traditional Tarot meanings on a visual scale. I am a very visual reader.

Still, the animals throughout the deck make this one that I would probably turn to for spirit animal work or meditation. I can see it being a very good deck for someone who is turned off by brighter decks in terms of artwork.

4 of 5 Stars!
